Hui O Ka Pua 'Ilima - Event Display

Here is a general 18"x24" sign I designed for display during performances, media events, and conventions/festivals.

Hui O Ka Pua 'Ilima

Hui O Ka Pua "Ilima performed at a local community arts center this past weekend to a large crowd with great response. Here is the promo flyer used in email blasts + posted around the DC area.

Mod Gorilla Op Effect

Still messing w/pop art animation effects...

Horizon Vision

Ok so the summer's been busy + fun + unexpected.

Been doing more video/animation experiments to get into Flash + video development.

Cooked this up combining a bunch of influences I've been feeling.

Hui O Ka Pua 'Ilima Business Cards

The new business cards for Hui O Ka Pua 'Ilima just arrived - they look great!
They also match the new t shirts that were just printed.

Pop Art - Today ...literally...

Yes, yes, for some reason the work of Roy Lichtenstein has really been appealing to me recently. Maybe because I've been listening to surf rock and 60s garage? Who knows; anyhow, I came across the panel from an old comic and did it up a la Lichtenstein.

Past Future Woman

I was watching some Youtube tutorials on creating a metallic skin effect; some had good tips but nothing to my complete satisfaction. So I was messing around w/Photoshop and cooked this up.
I got some great results; for this sketch I further affected it after being inspired by trashy 60's sci-fi paperbacks.
